With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

This is the hardest question to answer. Where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years in this current trajectory of life or where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years if all the stars aligned and the world was your oyster?

In a warm and sunlit kitchen, I put on my cotton oven mits, open the blazing hot oven, and my nose fills with the most decadent smell of freshly baked, soft and chewy, chocolate chip cookies (light on the chocolate). I am on speaker phone with my best friend, laughing out loud (but not too loud to wake up my sleeping baby) at a classic story of a typical night out in university. Just a short interruption of our discussion to finalize details on our upcoming getaway to Greece.  My husband picked up our kid, who gets off earlier on Fridays, and they are coming home in 10 minutes. My mom is coming soon to take over dinner duties, so my husband and I can have a romantic date night out.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

No. No. NO. A word that I do not say or use enough. It has taken years to learn, and will continue to take years to understand and perfect, the power of saying no to certain things, people, and circumstances. My mind, body and self feel satisfied when I please others, but at what cost to my own happiness? I must find a balance between stretching out to bring happiness to others and knowing when to take time and make decisions for myself. Stay tuned as I discover if both can happen simultaneously.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Resilience. Break someone’s heart in half? Watch them stitch it back together. Someone falls and fails 10 times? Watch them get up and try 11 times. It might take an army, it might take light-years, but it’ll happen eventually. Their strength will bounce right back up.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

Being in the shadows was my comfort zone, doing anything possible to be faded out, to “fit in and not stand out”. Today, I still will never gravitate towards the spotlight, the attention, the eyes-on-you, but at least I’m not afraid. Thanks to an ensemble of the most loyal and loving friends, I have grown to not be afraid to be myself, to embrace the skin I’m in. I have learnt how to be the first to say “hello”, to socialize, to actually talk to people. Doesn’t sound hard right? But for the longest time, even seeing a new face and having to talk to them was an impossible task

To my girl gang and my guy gang, thank you for loving me as much as I love you.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years I see myself living a good life; happy with the career I would have created for myself. Although I love Seattle, I don’t see myself living in this city by the time I’m 30. I’ll probably be living somewhere warmer, perhaps by the beach. In ten years I want to be able to say I took all the chances I saw ideal for myself, even if it was hard to bring myself to do so.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

A perceived flaw I have is being too impatient, which sometimes gets the best of me. I am growing by trying to dedicate the accurate time for everything.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Something I find miraculous about life is all the mesmerizing views our planet has to offer. It is easy to get caught up just chasing money but when we dedicate time to go explore our surroundings, it’s incredible the peace we can find in those places and I believe spending time on nature serves to find yourself.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I am living out the RUMBLE concept by coming together with all kinds of people with all kinds of backgrounds and aspirations. I like motivating the people I come across with to pursue whatever goals they have. Also by adopting the “casual/street” style in the way I dress.

I see myself as a successful music artist traveling the world.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Organization is my current flaw, but I’m working on that.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Life itself is so amazing. I find it incredible that everyone is so unique in their own ways.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’ve been getting out in the community to meet new people and network. I just recently got into modelling and look forward to growing as a model and person.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

10 years from now seems crazy far but I know it’ll go fast. From this moment until then I want to build as many networks and connections possible to collaborate with people learning new concepts and new looks on life. To be able to share all my experiences about the risks and adventures I’ve taken by myself and with all the people I’ve grown up with to get me where I would be. In hopes of having in independent business in either fashion/modeling industry or interior designing. In 10 years I know I’ll already traveled to many different countries around the world and at 27 be settled with my career and live life as happy and exciting as I do now.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

At the moment, I’m growing by just learning. Still being young I’m starting to go in the direction of where I exactly have in mind to be and working hard now while I’m still developing into the adult I’m soon to be. I reach out to as many people who I know can help guide me to the paths I’m on and to grow relationships with others to know what and who I work best with. Having an open mind and Being surrounded by new people has definitely helped as well.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I find life itself a miracle. Us all being created the same, sharing the exact physical structures but all mentally so different. Each life has its own unique differences and no one is the same as another. It’s looking forward to learning and listening to what each person you meet has to show and tell. I love the engagement of conversations about all the crazy and exciting experiences they’ve lived and yet to come. Everyday has its own story and that’s truly what amazes me.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m living out the Rumble Concept by just accepting life for all the little things that come along. To expand my boundaries, my comfort zones. Go after my goals and ambitions. Being passionate and dedicated. Motivating yourself to achieve anything you aspire to be. Reminding myself that everything happens for a reason.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Corny, but, happy. And surrounded by people I love. I love modeling. I hope to turn it into an even More full time career than it already is for me. But getting into it at 18 and beginning with little confidence, it did take a bit of a toll on me; as it would any teenager. With all of the unrealistic expectations and whatnot. (To anyone reading this, learn to fall in love with the parts of yourself that you may not particularly like and Try not to compare yourself to others. Just be kind to people and be passionate about something that you can get lost in and the little things won’t seem so big anymore.) So in 10 years, I’d like to be happy and at peace with myself. The way I look, the company I keep, the choices I make. And as far as modeling goes, Guess, For Love And Lemons, or Agent Provocateur would be my dream brands to model for. But I know looks are fleeting, so in 10 years I may be more into fashion or model management. Who knows. And lastly, I would like to spend some time with teens/young adults that are struggling with their mental health. If all possible, being a peer bridger in an inpatient program would be amazing.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I have severe severe severe anxiety. Leaving the house has been difficult for me for years. And my job is to travel haha. So it’s been tough. This strategy called “OPA” has helped me a lot. I’m an extreme perfectionist with a bit of ocd so using this method has been great for me. It stands for Organize. Prioritize. Act. To do lists overwhelm me cause I don’t know where to start, and at the same time I want to do everything at once. So having it written down and prioritizing things has been helpful.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Genuine people. They are seemingly hard to come across so when you find one, hold them close. It’s probably not the high school boyfriend that gave you your first bouquet and said you were pretty. It could be your little old lady neighbor that bakes you cookies for no reason or the friend that will drive over in the middle of the night just cause you don’t want to be alone. There are good people out there. Many. They just seem hard to find because most of the time, people aren’t looking in the right direction. Or are overlooking phenomenal people.

As for a miraculous Place- the beach. Even in the rain. Just race the waves like you used to do as a kid and the weather won’t matter. Most things won’t matter in that moment.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m just doing the best I can and rolling with whatever life throws at me.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Ideally travelling across all the continents and seeing the world through the lens of all sorts of different cultures. I also want to have a home base somewhere on the fringes of a metropolis where I can enjoy nature walks through lush foliage with someone I treasure.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Taking things for granted. I mostly experience appreciation only when conditions permanently change and I want to be more conscious of how transient everything is. I’m aiming to live my life with constant, unconditional gratitude for the people around me.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I’m a firm believer in human malleability and how we can readily adapt to both new ideas and circumstances. I fiend redemption stories.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m thrilled by the fact that I can work from anywhere and still get to build innovative products with a fantastic team. I’m proud that what I do brings enormous value to society (hit me up in person for a longer explanation!)

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Ideally, I see myself in the house of my dreams in the Magnolia neighbourhood of Seattle, WA and operating as a corporate partner for my tax firm. I envision myself utilizing this position to mentor others to reach their dreams!

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I feel that as a perfectionist, I take things too hard or too personally when things start to go wrong. I try to correct this by taking a step (or two) back, giving myself as unbiased of a reality check as possible & reaching out to my friends for input & support.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I think the patterns that can be detected in the physical entities of this world are miraculous. Like how the arteries in a mammal look like the bare branches of a tree, or how the death of a star in space looks similar to the birth of a microscopic cell, or the surface of the iris of an eye looks similar to images of space nebula.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I am constantly seeking to join supportive networks in all kinds of areas where I fill the roles of both mentor and mentee simultaneously. My blog focuses on all things that keep my happy, and I feel that mentorship in any capacity gives me the utmost fulfillment!

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

VP of Sales or a Senior Analyst at Auth0 (or a similar company). Tech sales is my day job.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I should work smarter not harder, so I have more time to pursue hobbies.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

The range of personalities, skill sets, and outlooks people have.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I like playing with my cat, making sales, and learning useless facts. Example: Eating carrots to make your eye-sight better is a myth started by the RAF (English air force) in WWII to hide the fact that they had just invented Sonar and were suddenly more proficient at shooting down airplanes.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years I see myself fulfilled. I would love to continue my professional dancing career as long as my body, mind, and soul allow. My dream of being a principle dancer is followed by years and years of hard work. I am ready for that challenge and for any others life throws at me.
What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Growing up as an only child with young parents was definitely a blessing. It allowed me to be very close with them both. They are my best friends. I am growing and learning to be more independent. It’s been more of a challenge than I hoped for, but I am still able to learn and grow with lessons they’ve taught me and are continuing to teach me.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Love. That feeling in the bottom of your stomach that makes you wobbly. When you come home from work to your puppy overjoyed to see you and be with you. Hiking up a beautiful mountain or trail, and as you look out onto the horizon, with the breeze on your face, feeling incredibly content on where you are at that moment. Moments full of raw and pure love are the ones that I hold closest to my heart. How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I am inspiring young local dancers to pursue their dreams. Everyone deserves a chance at making their dreams come true, no matter their income, race, religion or gender. Hard work can get you so far in life, so I am doing my best to stay true to myself and work hard every day. My senior year in high school, I worked with my elementary/middle school to inspire the next generation of young artists to pursue their passions no matter what they were. Pacific Northwest Ballet’s Discover Dance and Dance Chance programs inspire me and make me proud to work with such a world-renowned company.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Being a ballet dancer. I hope in 10 years I am still pursuing my career as a dancer and growing more as an artist.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

One flaw I have is not living in the present. I try to enjoy the things I have in my life and be grateful for the things in my sight and not worry about the “could haves” or should haves”

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Something miraculous about life is that even the smallest moments that you don’t acknowledge at the time can be a lesson that you can benefit from when the time is right.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I am living out the RUMBLE concept by starting a new choreographic project. I am expanding myself as an artist in a way I haven’t in the past and it is equally amazing and terrifying.

Traveling a lot more, enjoying creative ventures.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I have to plan everything! My schedule is so lousy, sometimes I miss out on taking care of myself or just going with the flow and being present. I definitely keep working towards being more independent in my line of work.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

CEO of a company if not, my own. I like to think I’m stupidly ambitious, I’m only 20 so at 30 I want to be thriving. I want this grind to be worth the work, while also empowering others to do the same.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

A lot of people when they first meet me perceive me as fake or two faced; I’ve taken the feedback and started to a blog to be more transparent with people online and make sur eI’m giving them the same “Hannah Swan” no matter what.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Life is what you make it, “speak it into existence” is probably my favorite quote. As long as you work for it and put your heart into it, it’ll happen. I love that.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m going after my dreams regardless of the boundaries or people who tell me ‘no’. I’m really committed to surrounding myself with supportive driven people, people that want to make it too.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I’m too self-critical because I worry too much about what other people think of me. I’m trying to focus more on what I think about myself and working to build my self-confidence.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

How meeting one person at one point in time can completely shift your life course.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

At a large university, like UW, it is important to find people you can rely on. I’ve found that in my current roommates- 3 girls who I hadn’t met before this year but now spend most of my time with. I’m also part of UW mock trial, which has helped me learn how to work with a team and build my communication skills.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Being shy, I need to work on that for sure and I am.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I think something that is absolutely miraculous about life is that when life gets hard and you feel like you’ll never get out of the hard times you ALWAYS do and you just grow as a person you get stronger and honestly if you didn’t go through hard times how do you learn?

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m 21 and owning a dance studio that I’ve been owning since the age of 18 and I’m so proud of myself for chasing my dreams I actually just started a beauty YouTube channel this year and that’s something I’ve wanted to do for years and I’m so glad I finally did it. What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I tend to be unsure about myself or my abilities. I am working on becoming more confident in myself and decisions and just let everything fall into place.
