With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In 5 years, I will complete my law degree and philosophy PhD. In 10 years, I see myself making a positive impact through work as a litigator and through academic research. I want to be a part of proposing solutions to problems in law and have these solutions better people’s lives. I see myself not needing to discuss the ‘work/life balance’ anymore because I’ve learned be present and whole hearted in everything I do.  I will know how to focus on what is important and let go of the rest.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I think that people’s best qualities usually come with a negative ‘shadow’ side. I’m someone that loves to be organized and am always thinking of how to improve. The problem with this is that I’m stuck always looking at the next thing I need to do. I often forget to focus on fully letting my mind be in the present moment.

It took me a while to realize that this was a bad thing. A big step for me was to realize that I was living with a mindset of “my life will start after this exam is done, or this program is done, or when I have this or that”, which is a ridiculous way to think about life.  I’m also growing in this area by putting ‘non-negotiables’ in my life. I’m in my second year of law school and so for now, this looks like me committing to dance for at least one hour a week (I feel alive and in the moment when I dance).

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I find it miraculous how resilient people are. It’s amazing how we can choose to respond to some of the worst experiences in a way that leads us to achieve what we had previously thought was impossible.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

By seeing the beauty in the small everyday moments.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Married with two kids, working as the veterinarian for the Toronto Police’s mounted division and at the Toronto Zoo with my own animal-based TV show. Happy. Juggling things in such a healthy way that my life doesn’t feel like it’ll fall apart if I slip up. Helping to run and expand the Toronto SKA dojo while training for a second or third degree black belt, while being active in other sports like running, weight lifting, and horseback riding. My loved ones being happy and successful.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I am scared and lazy. I am too lazy to invest my energy even into my dreams. I justify to myself that I am trying to enjoy the now instead of focusing solely on my goals, but I know that’s a lie. Really, I have so many ambitions but I am so scared to properly pursue them, because I am scared that if I give it my all and fail, it will show that I am not good enough.

Since high school, I’ve been unlearning this strict mentality that being “successful” is the most important thing in the world. I’m trying to get to where I’ll be that I’m happy - and while that means pursuing my dreams, that also means accepting myself if I fall short. Learning to have faith in myself that my path is worthy, no matter where it takes me.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Biology. Bodies are so complex; there are so many systems and pathways in place and we still don’t entirely understand all of them and how they interact. And it’s coded - from a single cell, a being develops in line with genetics in the context of environment. And to think it all came about from biochemical components - just wow. Biology is so amazing, with so many facets, so many applications, and so much to learn.
How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

My core friend group in university is the Filipino Students’ Association of Toronto. FSAT is a well established student association at the University of Toronto working to provide space for Filipinos and Filipino culture, enriching the university experience, and giving back to the Filipino community. I am constantly amazed by the dedication and ingenuity of our membership, and I am so excited for this year because we have really strong leadership: my friends Hilary and Glyn. They are both hard working, knowledgeable, and passionate - and I am so happy to see them take on their positions as co-presidents. I held their position last year, and I am glad to be changing my role because I know that Hilary and Glyn are competent and significantly more involved in the Filipino community outside of U of T than I am. (Instead, I am finishing my undergrad as the Health & Wellness coordinator, a position more true to my personal interests and areas of expertise.) FSAT is strong under their leadership and I am so excited for FSAT to continue and expand the work that we do for our community.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I see myself living a life that brings me happiness and success.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

A perceived flaw I have is that I care too much about what others may think of me. Everyday I work towards coming out of my shell so I can be who I am without caring what others may think.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Something I find miraculous about life is how you’re always given choices about who you want to become. How choosing one thing in life could alter you entire future and make you who you are.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m living out the rumble concept everyday, as I’m constantly striving to do and learn new things to make my dreams come true. I’m always actively searching to new people to work with to help push me forward and help make me become better at the things I strive to do.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

I am planning to establish my startup company, which produces fashion clothes combined with tech devices.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I don't smile a lot....I think I was born with a serious face.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

It's unpredictability.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

People often have certain images about models, such as tall, pretty and slim. I still believe that everyone can be a model regardless of your height, weight and appearance. So love yourself!

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I see myself still working hard for what I want. I will have already opened my own business space downtown to do eyelash extensions, skincare, waxing etc…I also see myself travelling the world and being able to experience different cultures and experiences. I would also love to have grown on my social platform as in YouTube and instagram.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Something I have been trying to really work on recently is to push myself. I enjoy stepping out my comfort zone with adventurous stuff such as jumping off a cliff, facing fears etc… but I find that I tend to not push myself with things having to deal with my life, such as what I’ll do in the future. I mostly do not push myself because I am scared about the outcome. My dream would be to become a social media influencer and be able to own a beauty business. I have been stepping out of my fear by making a YouTube channel and making lifestyle, vlogs, pranks, and beauty videos. Aside from that  I have also been trying to grow my following on Instagram and am currently applying for an eyelash extension course. All in the hopes to make my dream become a reality.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I think something miraculous about life is that you can truly be whatever you want. Of course, the hard work is going to be a part of it but nothing in life comes easy and I think that fighting for what you want in order to get the life you want is truly amazing and something that a lot of people sleep on.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I think that for myself wanting to be in the beauty community and also social platform supporting the great people around us is super important. As I am striving to open up a place for beauty such as  eyelashes, waxing, and facials, I think that I will be able to give women and men the support they need to make themselves feel beautiful and comfortable in their own skin. Along with that I would love to use by social media as a way to spread positivity and support to everyone.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

I see myself fulfilled and free at the same time. Free in the sense that nothing will forcefully tie me down to any place or anything. Life will be on my own personal terms. I also see myself fulfilled with the decisions and process which I am going through at this time in my life, which is undoubtedly a crucial time for me as I build who I am.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Sometimes I think I take things too seriously. This could be good at times however distasteful at others. I am trying to grow beyond this by knowing when to take certain things seriously and when to just let go. Key word trying!!

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

How important and miniscule individual humans are at the same time. Sometimes when I walk around downtown or travel in general, I think and see others, wondering about the problems, ambitions, thoughts they too have just like myself. Then I think about the other billions on the planet. Suddenly I feel small and not so important. However, this does not take away the fact that each and every individual are important in their own separate ways.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

Support. Support. Support. Support is all we need to be successful. So, to further live out the Rumble Concept I can say that I hold a small tight knit group of friends and family whom are all about supporting one another in each of our separate lives and endeavors. Are we always successful? Not at all. Do we always have each other’s backs? Always.

Vivian Tran
Age 21

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years’ time, I will have achieved the lifestyle that I envision for myself and my family. I’ll have retired early and be traveling the world, making a positive impact on as many people as I possibly can. The beauty of the future is that it can be whatever you make it to be; when you decide to make changes today, you alter the days that follow. In 10 years, I’ll be living in the heart of Vancouver and have a beach house somewhere warm in the U.S. I’ll have started the big family that I’ve always wanted and my business will have expanded exponentially. I’ll see the success and happiness that I’ve worked hard to attain.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I don’t perceive my flaws as flaws – I see them as strengths being used in an unproductive way. These qualities challenge you and it can either make or break you. Personally, I put too much priority and care into what others think of me. At times, it can consume me or cloud my thinking to the point that it sets me back from achieving my goals. I’ve found that taking breaks from social media and dissociating from others has given me a space to reflect on my true values.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I think it’s miraculous that everything happens in life due to cause. No matter if it’s intentional or accidental, everything exists the way it does because of a chain of events that led to it. When you think about your life as a sequence of events, you really begin to grasp the concept of control. You’ll never achieve the life you want by waiting for the perfect sequence of events to occur – it will only happen when you decide to push back against adversity.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I live out the Rumble Concept everyday by keeping my heart and mind open to new people and opportunities. I try to remember that outward appearances often create subconscious opinions before you can even consciously comprehend them. It’s always easier to find the negative in something – the real challenge is to live life finding only the best qualities out of your surroundings. When you walk the earth with this mindset, all of your relationships and achievements will be a product of genuine positivity and hard work.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In ten years I see myself continuing on my creative journey. Maybe modelling, maybe working in optometry which is what I do now. Although ultimately if I am being honest there is a lot of mystery to my future. I don’t know exactly what career I will have or where I’ll be at that time but I am not worried because I know if I continue life with a positive and hard working attitude then opportunities will come to you. Networking and being open to trying new things can take you far, and it has definitely taken me far. Life takes you in new directions that you can never anticipate. I want to be open to any new creative opportunities that arise and dedicate myself to them. My backup job is to work as an optician because I have a lot of experience doing that.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

A flaw I see in myself is my time management and stress. I am very busy most of the time and don’t prioritize myself. I will book too many shoots or take too many shifts at work and then never have time for me. I end up very stressed! I am trying to work on that by being self reflective and prioritizing my values first - mental health should always come first! If you feel more emotionally fulfilled you can do a better job in life. It balances out that way.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Something in life I find miraculous is people’s abilities to create and learn, especially people who follow their dreams. I am inspired by people who have a creative vision and do everything they can to make it happen. Even more miraculous is how much you can grow by connecting with others! Dreams can only be reached with the help of others.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I am living out the rumble concept because I am trying to be real and honest every day. I strive to be humble and inclusive, especially as a freelance model. I have connected with so many different creatives and have learned that the most effective way to collaborate is by being kind and supportive to others rather than competitive. Everyone moves at their own pace and it is important to recognize the different skills and ideas each person brings to the table. Everyone has the ability to create and explore so we should support each other to find the strengths in others.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Seeing as I can’t picture my next minutes, let alone years, this is a tough one. I’m not great at planning – as much as I’d like to. Ideally, I’m hoping that the Cat in 10 years has a certain mindset and outlook on life – one that’s positive, content, and wise. I hope she’s surrounded by positive friendships and strong relationships, I hope she’s doing something that’s both personally rewarding and professionally satisfying. I hope she’s still dreaming and creating new goals for herself so that she can constantly grow.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I hold my own values and beliefs very deeply and was taught to stay true to them, but I also sometimes have difficulty accepting a difference in opinions. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve tried to tap into my empathy more in an effort to understand others from different walks of life and reserve judgment.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

That we have created technology to put a man on the moon but we still find something as simple as the sunset incredible.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I dance as a hobby and it’s changed my entire outlook on life to become so much more inclusive. It’s become a door to an entirely new world where I can find opportunity to connect with people of all shapes and sizes, with different backgrounds and experiences, all with a universal love for movement and music.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Life is unpredictable. I don’t think it really matters where I see myself in 10 years as long as I’m happy living.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

My biggest flaw is probably my social anxiety. I’m a quiet person so I know sometimes I can come off as pretentious or rude. In reality I just don’t know how to handle myself in a social setting so I avoid making awkward conversation.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

There’s still so much to life that we haven’t discovered.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I think I live out the RUMBLE concept by supporting and empowering others just as I do myself. We are all beautiful individuals and should encourage each other rather than tear each other down.

In 10 years myself with a career that I love that enables me to live my life with no worries and present me with opportunities for adventures and excitement.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

A flaw that some might say I have is my kindness and that the other flaw is that I don’t recognize that this may be a flaw. Many have known me to be too nice which most have taken advantage of. How I am growing from this, is knowing my limits and who to trust but also staying true to myself. That’s me! I am nice!

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Although I am only 22 years of age, something miraculous that I have experienced are the many times my faith has shown me so much love, understanding and support.

How I am living out the RUMBLE Concept? I enjoy every moment and every opportunity that comes in my way and sharing this with my girls makes it all the more enjoyable.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

I hope to have the confidence that will allow me to build my career in the film industry, something I’m working in at the moment and hope to continue doing. I’d like to be happy, which right now means: owning my own home, traveling every year, and having a family. But who knows what will make me happy. Other than my career goals, I have no strict idea of what else I’ll have achieved in my life. I just hope that 34-year old me will be happy.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Oh gosh where do I start. I’m impatient, confrontational, competitive, and judgemental. But most of all, I’m really REALLY insecure in myself, clearly. Not so much what I look like, but more who I am. This year I’ve been trying to have a calmer, more accepting approach to life. To not judge or point fingers, but to accept the world around me and be happy for the good things in it.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I’d like to think that this life is for learning. Every good and bad thing we experience, we learn something. Big or small, we are always learning, and I think there’s something wonderful about that.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

By trying to be myself, unapologetically. These days, I focus more on myself and how I can learn and improve than comparing myself to others. Time spent caring about the people you love than comparing yourself to others is much more worth it.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I am a very quiet person. I prefer observing my surroundings and people around me to talking aimlessly and with no real purpose. - and why I perceive my quietness as a flaw is because this trait sometimes annoys people.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years I will likely have retired from modelling, and I would hope to be settled in a stable, exciting, and engaging career related to tech consulting. Having an engineering background, I’ve always been drawn to technology and the tech industry will always be booming. I also hope to be married to my best friend and to have started a family. I'd like to have traveled to at least 40 countries by then - 9 more to go!

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Growing up, I have always been risk averse, I was a total perfectionist. I would over-think every decision I made and was terrified of failure. My life used to feel safe, yet unfulfilled, and lacked spontaneity. I've grown so much over the past few years, ever since I decided to stop living in a bubble-wrapped shell and take more risks. After being on 2 student exchanges in Europe, and traveling Asia for 2 years as an international model, I’ve learned independence, developed my passions in life and became adaptable to crazy dynamic environments - and all of that stemmed from me not being afraid to jump into opportunities with both feet. Those experiences that stretch your boundaries and push you out of your comfort zone make for the best learning opportunities.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

The best part about life is its unpredictability - you never know where you might end up! Everything can change in a heartbeat, which helps me put things into perspective and appreciate living in the moment.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m living out the RUMBLE Concept by having busted my ass in school and by earning everything that got me to where I am today through blood, sweat and tears - not relying on other people to get ahead. Being my best self. I truly believe you make your own luck in this world and if you put in the effort, the universe will reward you.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

At the moment, I really enjoy being on the frontline of fashion events. I’ve done runway shows were I have walked for designers but was always really intrigued when it came to watching all of the little details come together to make an amazing show. I believe in 10 years, I want to be the the go-to individual when it comes to making all of the decisions when putting on a fashion show, that being an event coordinator, hopefully for an renowned company. Placement of decor, choosing of the venues, etc. There are so many intricate details into putting on a show and because I am such a perfectionist and my keen attention to detail, I think I would excel when it comes to putting on an event. Fashion has always been a passion of mine and helping bring an event to life that embodies everything fashion would be so fulfilling.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I am a confident person, but I wasn’t always this way and I think a little piece of the old me still resonates. One flaw that I have is I tend to be very critical of myself. I have been blessed in this life to have amazing people in my life and have met people that have given me so much faith in myself to live out this dream (modelling), but I sometimes don’t see what it is that everyone sees in me. But then I remember, everyone in life has a purpose and you can’t progress if you dwell on the things that aren’t important because then you won’t get to where you want to be or where you’re supposed to be.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I find it incredible that we are born and we instant love. When we’re born, there’s nothing else that we know of other than our mother or our caregiver. We can barely see, but we have this innate feeling that when we are held by this person, we are safe and nothing can harm us. Then when we get older, our love grows, we love our families, we grow to love people we interact, friends, and sometimes even grow to love another person that we can spend the rest of our lives with. Love is always growing, our love for people, love for animals, love for music, love for everything. We can always find it in ourselves to give love, no matter what age, and I think that’s an amazing aspect of life.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I really think I am living out the Rumble concept because I am an individual who is always looking to empower myself and others around me. If I can do something to make someone feel good with words of encouragement or teach something to someone that they can use to advance themselves, I feel a sense of fulfillment. I think if there was just more positivity coming from one another and flowing through everyone’s mind, body, and soul, people would be so much more pleasant. I can tell through the edginess of the brand, Rumble empowers individuals to stand out and be fearless. And I think that standing out, without fear is something if every person embodied would make our society so amazing to live in.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

I plan on becoming a lawyer, hopefully living in the centre of downtown Toronto. I really also want to live in France for a few years, so I can experience living in a completely different country and see their culture. Hopefully I will be married with a kid! I know for a fact I’ll have a dog.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I’ve always been insecure about my body growing up. I grew up really chubby so I always had a bunch of adults and peers comment on my weight. I’ve grown up over the years but I still remember their comments and how I felt. I the best advice I can give is to try to love every piece of yourself since we have our bodies for a full lifetime. Our flaws make us who we are!

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I am a huge believer that everything happens for a reason. I try to have that mindset when something doesn’t go my way. I believe that everything is leading you into the person you are meant to be. If I don’t get a job I want or I get into an argument with a friend I see it as a challenge I will overcome and use as a lesson.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I believe in the law of attraction. Whatever energy you put out in the world is the energy you will get back. I try to be as positive as I can and bring good into the world. I try not to say anything bad about myself or other people. I always stand up for what I believe in. And it is working for me, I always have people come up to be for advice and tell me I have a good energy. I always fight any sort of hate with love, and I try to see the good in everyone. I try to be as empathetic as I can with everyone and understand why they might feel or act like that do. I realized that you can never truly know a person’s situation.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years, I see myself established in my career. I imagine myself living my dreams and sharing milestones with my life partner. Living my best life. Thinking about my life a decade from now is terrifying, yet also super exciting … but honestly, I’m just trying to plan for next year!

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I am trying to take more risks, both in my professional life and my personal life. I’ve decided to move to Spain for a year to teach English to children. This is one example of me (trying) to make a conscious effort to take more risks. 9/10 times, taking leaps of faith and trying new things aren’t as scary as they initially seem. They also don’t leave you with any regrets – at least in my experiences! I think that’s pretty dope.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I have found that the twists and turns of life always work out for the best. The silver lining will continuously emerge. One does not have to be religious to put trust in a greater plan!

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

Through my studies, at work, and in my day-to-day life! I am completely behind the RUMBLE philosophy. If everyone lived life with the mutual intention of supporting other humans and appreciating one another, the world would be a better place.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

No inhibitions? In 10 years I see myself on the way to opening my dream boutique. It has always been a life time dream of mine to one day own a small boutique selling custom designed clothing and also to have a little cute café in it.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I am an extremely indecisive person. I cannot for the life of me make up my mind about anything. From something as little as where to eat dinner to where to go on vacation, but as soon as I ask someone to make the decision for me, I get defensive and want to choose the other option. I’m trying to learn to let loose a little more and to just go with the flow. I’m trying to find it in me to just choose something and go for it. It’s working alright.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

I cannot seem to get over how big this world is, how many people exist in the world, and how many places there are to see. I spent many years living in a bubble only knowing the city i lived in. It wasn’t until I got lost during a hike when I realized how small I am compared to everything around me.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

Everyday is more or less the same. I wake up, get dressed, I have breakfast, I get on the train and I go to school. I go home, I do work, I have dinner, I sleep. What I aim to do everyday is to break this routine. I enjoy variety, I enjoy exploring and trying new things. I make it a point to add something in different in every day that I experience, even if it’s something as little as taking a different route to the train station or as significant as taking on a new hobby. This is essentially how I got into fashion, why I started travelling, why I enjoy meeting new people. These are 3 things I truly cherish as they contribute to who I am and why I enjoy being me.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

I’m 22 years old right now! In 10 years, ideally- I see myself married to my best friend & partner in crime and starting a beautiful family! Career-wise I hope that I will be involved in interesting and stimulating projects.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Something I find miraculous about life is that it is unpredictable and dynamic! I’m a firm believer in growing as a human being and I like being challenged. Life is also too short to dwell on petty things, we should learn to accept, let go and most importantly, enjoy life!

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Quite frankly, I find myself struggling with my mental health at times. Although there has been progressive effort made by organizations and campaigns to bring light to this topic, I personally think it’s hard to talk about because you don’t want to make people feel uncomfortable or burdened by your problems. Fortunately, I’m learning what makes me happy and less anxious, finding passions, changing my perspectives on certain parts of life. Having supportive and genuine connections with people really help!

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

“You can’t connect the dots looking forward, you can only connect them looking back” and that is absolutely true. My skills, passion and dedication will only increase every year and that will guide me in the right direction, wherever that may be.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

The biggest flaw is “selflessness”. I often find myself thinking of others so much that I forget about myself. There should be a balance between selfishness and selflessness. You need to be aware of what you want and need yourself sometimes. I try and remember this in every situation now and it’s helping me grow as a person. There is only one of you, you might as well take care of it.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

One thing I find miraculous about life is the power of “dynamical systems”. A dynamical system is a system that evolves based on it’s initial conditions, “the state at some initial time”. Chaos is generated by feeding solutions back into the rule as a new initial condition. Using this rule, you can predict what state a system will be at a particular time in the future. Life is a function and most of the time you can manipulate the variables that will lead to a particular state in the future. You are able to control a lot based on your mindset. Changing your mindset and being aware of your surroundings can create a positive ripple effect. I believe that is the most amazing thing of life.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m in a sorority called Delta Psi Delta at McMaster. The girls are constantly supporting each other and encouraging each other to be the best possible person they can be. Surrounding yourself with positivity and encouragement is important and I love all my sisters!

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years

I’ll be 32. By then I hope to be a thriving business woman/lawyer at the top of my game, with a solid life partner and maybe even a baby? Actually, I’d love a baby by the time I’m 32 and I know that eventually I’ll put having a family before being a girl boss. I just want to be debt free, living life, with soft feet despite the fact that I hope to have trekked across the world at some point before then. I hope I’m no longer anxious and that I’ll have gotten to live in New York City. Maybe by then I’ll be planning on settling in Vancouver.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I get so anxious! About everything. Even though I’m very confident and happy with who I am, I find myself getting anxiety when I’m at school, in class, at a party, at home…it’s gotten way worse being in law school. A few hours/days/weeks later and I’ll look back and ask myself why I was being so extra, but I really need to work on having faith that things will work out. BUT, I’m honestly so happy with how much I have changed between being 17 and now. I think back to when I started McGill and I was a 17 year old baby with crippling anxiety and I always needed to find validation from men. Ugh…makes me so sad to think about that. I’ve honestly grown so much, as a woman, as a conscious citizen of this world, as a biracial person…I’m pretty happy that now I just shrug when a fuck boy comes in and tries to ruin my life ;)

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

The way in which the universe always seems to have a plan for us. I’m not superstitious, and I’m not religious, but I honestly think that everything happens for a reason. I try to remind myself that every day.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I’m living out the RUMBLE Concept my busting my butt off everyday as the first person in my family to go to post-secondary, let alone law school. I wake up early, usually running on about 5-6 hours of sleep, and I go to the library and study till 10pm. But I’m so happy because I’ve managed to be very social this year and make lots of friends.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Inhabiting a wooden desk at a fun start-up (maybe my own), sharing a home with a loved one and a chubby corgi in a place like Williamsburg, and exploring sunny islands with my family and friends. Still supporting socially-conscious businesses but hopefully by then sustainable practices will be the norm. Ultimately, the goal is just to be a better and stronger version of myself, dog or no dog (ideally dog though).

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

Stop focusing on your flaws and give yourself more credit. There are enough obstacles so why are you holding YOURSELF back? I’ve surrounded myself with a supportive network of amazing humans. I’ve took on projects, whether I think I’m qualified or not.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Life itself!

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

They say the most important factor one should consider in a new job is growth. I'm very lucky that my hobby is my day job. I get to spend at least eight hours doing what I enjoy. This helps tremendously with staying motivated and seeking new learning opportunities.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

In 10 years, I see myself graduated from post secondary school and managing a women empowerment business. My passion is to inspire natural beauty because everyone is beautiful in their own way.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I’m growing myself by reading personal growth books. There is always room for improvement in different aspects of life. One of my weaknesses is public speaking and I’m addressing it by being there in person speaking during group presentations.

What’s something you found miraculous about life?

Life itself is miraculous. There are so many things to do, many opportunities and things to experience. Life is a gift and it should not be wasted on thinking about negative things.

How are you living out the RUMBLE concept?

I try to keep my social media updated and approachable so it’s easy for people with opportunities to reach out to me. My “girl gang” would be my sorority. They gave me my strength and support in anything I do.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

My goodness I haven't thought about what 10 years exactly would look like. But I for sure know 29 years old sounds crazy to me! All I really do hope for in the next 10 years is to work on myself and to be a big lover of life in wherever it may lead. I am one that is driven by the energy of the people around me, so as long as I find the people that make my heart happy I know I am in the right place.

What's something you find miraculous about life?

I really find it crazy how the world is huge and I haven't seen anything yet - I am so overdue for travelling. I grew up in a family of 7 (that's five sisters, plus my parents) so travelling abroad was always a big burden for us (both financially and emotionally lol). My twin sister (@maiiiiaa) would be my ideal travelling partner. I envision us travelling the world together in the next 3 years. The idea that the world can be so big, yet so small is miraculous. Who knows what exists on the other side?!

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I find myself living out the RUMBLE project by jumping on opportunities brought to me. Being open to new adventures and loving whatever it is I'm doing to my full capacity. Surrounding myself by influential and inspirational people. Taking risks to prove to myself what I am capable of. Making a scene - and being proud of it.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

With no inhibitions, in 10 years, I see myself continuing my passion for acting. I would love to see myself as involved in the industry as I can possibly be and to allow my creative spirit to continue to flourish.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

A flaw I am working on is becoming a healthier individual. Whether it be by myself or within the community, making healthier choices for myself will allow for positive actions to be taken externally as well. Share and spread love & happiness.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Something I find miraculous about life is reproduction. The fact that we have the ABILITY to create the next generation is a beautiful thought.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I believe I am living out the RUMBLE concept by working alongside my twin sister in the film industry. By taking every opportunity we can and by being fearless!

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years

Your guess is as good as mine! Living near a beach would be pretty ideal though!

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I used to have a tendency of living in the past or the future, and not always appreciating the present. I find that in the past few years I have been maturing through different experiences and they have taught me that the best way to tackle life is day by day and to embrace the unexpected things that get thrown my way!

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Seasons. Nature. Earth. I just find It is so fascinating to see the processes of life in real time!

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

Since I was 4 I’ve been in school and training in dance, 16 years later I’m still doing the same thing but yet I find I’m constantly evolving yet have so much more room to grow in both areas.

With no inhibitions, where do you ideally see yourself in 10 years?

Ideally, in 10 years I see myself working for Doctors Without Borders in a third world country providing under privileged children healthcare. I am pursuing this dream in nursing school and by volunteering for many clubs that help fundraise for such causes.

What is a perceived flaw you have, how are you growing?

I am too emotionally invested in everything I do. I am learning where to draw the line between professionalism and personal feelings. I am also channeling my emotional investment into passion for my job.

What’s something you find miraculous about life?

Photographs! I still can’t wrap my head around how a beautiful memory can be captured so perfectly and frozen forever in time.

How are you living out the RUMBLE Concept?

I am a feminist. Girl power is my motto. In everything I do, I stand my ground and fiercely believe I am capable. I am in a sorority that embodies this belief as well.

Being able to meet people who live differently than I do, but have the same passion and hobbies as me. Last year I met an amazing couple from Australia and they completely changed my perspective on life and the way I interact with others.
